Why BEACON Exists

Las Vegas built the world’s most successful entertainment economy. Now it can become a model for human creativity.

The city has global visibility, millions of visitors, and an economy powered by imagination. Yet many residents still face limited access to arts education, creative workforce pathways, cultural participation, and community-centered creative spaces. BEACON was created to help close that gap.

The Founder

Background

ARTEO has dedicated more than four decades to exploring how creativity can empower individuals, communities, and culture.

Throughout his career, he founded Metamorfosis FX, one of Argentina's most renowned schools specializing in professional makeup and special effects; created Galería del Asombro, an immersive museum with over fourteen years of continuous operation; and produced massive participatory initiatives such as Zombie Walk Argentina, which gathered over 70,000 participants in a single day.

His work seamlessly integrates art, education, community engagement, and human development, training thousands of students and reaching hundreds of thousands of people through exhibitions, educational programs, immersive experiences, and cultural projects.

In 2022, the United States Government granted him the EB-1 Extraordinary Ability classification, a distinction reserved for professionals with exceptional achievements and sustained national or international acclaim. This recognition enabled him to establish permanent residency in the country to contribute his expertise and expand his cultural, educational, and community work.

Today, he spearheads BEACON Arts Foundation of Las Vegas, driven by the conviction that creativity, imagination, empathy, and human connection will be among the most valuable resources of the future.
